When he's not in ministry, Chris dedicates a lot of his time to home repairs. He also loves reading, hiking, and cheering for Oklahoma football—Boomer Sooner! Chris enjoys dining at various restaurants in Charlotte, with his favorites being Southbound Tacos and Mac's Speedshop. He and his wife, Robin, have two children and dog named Scout!

Rev. Rusty Thomaston
Executive Pastor
If asked where Rusty wants to eat, he'll most likely pick from one of these two: The Flying Biscuit (at Piper Glenn) & Tacos 4 Life. When he isn't working, he can be found outside enjoying nature. He and his wife, Amy, have 1 dog, 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 3 grandchildren.

Rev. David Bailes
Music Associate
When not in the ministry, David loves spending time with his family...and enjoying Mexican food! He enjoys watching University of Tennessee games (Go Vols!), listening to podcasts and music, and writing songs. He and his wife Lisa, have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren - Melissa (married to Donny) and their two children, Kristin (married to Matthew) and their three children, and son Tyler.

When Stan isn't working, he can be found tinkering with one of his trains or enjoying is backyard oasis. Stan loves eating at ___. He is married to his wife Donna and has 2 adult daughters and a son-in-law.

When Grace isn't spending time in the ministry, she loves spending time quality time with her family. She loves to enjoy sushi at Charlotte's local Ru San's. Grace is happily married to her husband, Jordan, and they have a pet betta fish named Oscar.

Daniel Sibrian
Creative Arts Pastor
When Daniel isn't working, you can find him writing music, catching a movie with his wife, or hanging out with friends. While he and his wife are huge fans of trying new restaurants, Daniel loves Epic Chophouse in Mooresville but also any Asian restaurant or pizzeria. Daniel and his wife have 2 Maltese dogs, Mia and June, and they love being aunt and uncle, which is a bit cheaper than parenthood!

Melissa Wisor
Minister to Children & Families
One of Melissa's favorite restaurants is South End's Sullivans Steakhouse. When not devoting her time to ministry, Melissa loves graphic design and to craft, bake, and crochet! Melissa is married and has two children and a fluffy dog named Smokey.


Adam Calderone
Recreation Director
Adam loves exploring Charlotte and trying new restaurants. Two of his favorites are Alexander Michael’s, as well as Jon G’s in Peachland for the best BBQ around!
When not working, he loves going for runs, riding his bike, hiking, paddleboarding, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, watching sports (Go UConn, Patriots, Celtics/Hornets), going to concerts and traveling. Adam is married and has an 8 year old dog named Moonpie!

Kim Govan
Child Development Center Director
Kim's favorite restaurant is 300 East and when she isn't in the office, she loves spending time fishing, boating and being at the pool. She is married to her husband, Israel, and has three kids: Will, serving in the Army in Alaska, Josh, serving in the Army in Okinawa, Summer, Firefighter/paramedic in Long Island.
